I have just recovered from an excellent meal at Applebee's. The tea still tasted a little funky to me, maybe it's the lemons or the water they use? They did have plenty of sugar in it, though. Mr. Welch and his other managers were very attentive to us. Hannah(?) our server was good. The food was real good. I was able to out-eat Grim, but I did take my desert carryout. Too bad Magnolia was out of town.. All is forgiven between Applebee's and me.

(March 19th Saturday Night) We arrived at Applebee's about 6:00 was told we would have about 25 min wait. We got back to our table pretty fast. Once our waitress got our drink order I asked to speak to Court Welch (Applebee's General Manager) instead another manager Matt came told us we were expected & that Court was at a Meeting/Convention. He told us that he hoped our time with them would be great tonight & informed us to ask if we needed anything. After we got our drinks & ordered Court Welch came by talked for a second, he seemed just like he was on the phone nice & very friendly person. Informed us that he hoped our meal experience would be great & to let him know if there were any problems. We recieved our bbq boneless wings & spinach ardichop appletisers. The bbq boneless wings were brought to us just like I ordered, with the ranch dressing on the side. After munching on that they brought us our food, it was to all of our satisfaction. Both our steaks were cooked just as we asked & BSIBetterHalf's was cooked just right. She made sure we all had plenty of coke & sweet tea. Overall our experience was very good. We thanked the waitress & left her a good tip for the good service. I want to say thanks to Court Welch & his team at Applebee's for making our meal experience enjoyable this time around. Here's to more experiences like that!

[/quote] Wtf is an ardichop? I think he meant artichoke.. ;D Good thing, too, I would hate to see Grim go all Darth Vader on Mr. Welch! I'll have to heartily agree with what Grim said, I was still recovering from the meal so I couldn't really concentrate on flowery speech. It was an excellent meal. I wish I ate the last two bites of garlic mashed potato. I just got through with the desert. The appetizers(appletizers?) were excellent, the steak and garlic mashed potatoes make me want to go there again and again. I was tempted to get a marguerita after I had a mudslide, but I was getting kind of full..That was a great meal! I hope everyone gets treated like that!

What I want to know is what the heck are you two doing up at 4:00 AM in the morning? I guess surfing the board is more fun than watching infomercials. HEH!
I'm glad you two had better service, and now I feel better about patroning them again.

The meal was GREAT at Applebee's, just like Grim said; even though he can't spell. It's a good thing that he married me, because I can. I hope our next meal is good @ both Applebee's & Logan's. It seems like Grim when Grim & I go out to eat; they never can get his order correct. He's just got some bad luck. He is a picky eater, but he always tells the server exactly how he wants his food. I'm not picky; so even they did mess my food up, I would probably still eat it without complaining. We ate lunch @ the house today & I have to say it was pretty good; even if I did cook it myself. I would like to know how the applebee's experience turned out. Out of at least 30 trips to applebee's we have had only 1 bad experince and that was when a waiter in training messed up several orders and quit on the spot. The other waiters were very apologetic. I believe you can have bad service at a good restaurant and our 1 bad experience has not detered us from going. I personally love appelebee's and my husband is allergic to onions and garlic and they have always tried to make sure our order is right. After all people do make mistakes on the job and no matter where you go to do any kind of business there is usually someone who is unnessacerly rude.

Applebee's is GOOD. I like their wraps. I believe 'Friday' likes Chicken Strips. Am I right?
