What's everyone doing for Halloween or Fall in general? I'm hoping to have a good bonfire sometime soon. Roasted Marshmellows!!!!! Hubby may have a show Halloween night, so we'll have to wait and see on it... I'm also helping out at a local haunted house. (yes, it's going to be a busy month.) Click to see the full version of the flyer... *dances* yeah, this is totally my favorite time of year.

Not sure of our plans. The kids always go thru the corn maze and to a haunted forest. The younger ones get their buckets ready to go get candy. And the older ones start buying up toilet paper for their friends yards.

Couple of years ago, I went to a haunted house in Baton Rouge. It was unbelievably frightening, very professional, and very well done. These people spent a lot of time and effort in getting the story they were telling just right and just plain scary. I was very impressed, and so were a lot of other people.

Pontotoc Mom: where is the corn maze and haunted forest? I've heard of the corn maze but have never been able to get info about it.
TF: Several years back, I hosted a yearly one in my father's abandoned factory out in Mooreville/Richmond called "Sanctuary of the Dead". We scared people quite effectively. Had a few people even pee their pants! The kicker is that the place really is haunted! lol. I told people the true story and I'm sure some people thought it was a hoky story, but oh well.

Wise Farm at Hurricane MS. Go down 15 towards New Albany turn left after you pass Ashley trucks and Sonic. It is about 3 or f miles down that road. Will be signs. Haunted forest is out at Algoma, MS.

Yeah take Hwy 6 toward Nettleton, at Bigbee, take a right onto Hwy 371, then you go MANY miles, when you get to the 4-way stop, I BELIEVE you take a right...Either way, you'll be on 178 at that point and there will probly be signs.

Ok, for those that were curious about the barn, I went out there with the people that are running it earlier this evening and it looks to be awesome. The barn is creepy even without anyone in it! I'm gonna be out in the woods so hunt me down and say hello if any of you guys come out. I made a mini-page for the barn so I could submit it to some haunted event sites, here's the link: www.geocities.com/watch_himdie/bbarn.htmlOoh and here's a cool site with some halloween BIG BOY thingytail recipes that I might be trying this weekend at my bonfire party: http://co cktails.about.com/od/co cktailrecipes/tp/halloween_cktl.htm *go back and take the spaces out of the last url* (couldn't post it normal because of the filter) ~APril the perky halloween gal.
