This week a Florida jury awarded $11 million to a woman who claimed she was defamed on an internet blog. The defendant allegedly posted "negative comments" about the plaintiff. The defendant, displaced and left destitute by Katrina, ran out of money before the trial and could not pay her attorney. Her attorney promptly dropped her case. She claims she was not even aware of the court date so she failed to appear.
The plaintiff stated that she knew the defendant could never pay but she (and obviously the jury) wanted to send a message to internet users that they can no longer use the internet to defame someone.

That can definetly be worth looking into. Janet has defamed alot of people out there and also she can get it for theft by deception, false impersonation and a couple of other things. I would think the FBI would be telling people who contact them and forward them information about her, what could be done. |

Not strange at all....she ignores that which she has no answer to. Have a look at what she has argued against....virtually nothing compared to the allegations against her. Thats because it's all true.....and more importantly can be proven to be true.

For all's info, I do not profess to be adopting, nor do I have a homestudy, we are all done adopting.
What I do is work with FBI, investigators etc....when we find out someone is scamming in the adoption world. We have helped with many cases in the states.
Janet is just a boil on my behind and it won't belong before she will be popped.
We not only contact FBI or investigators, sheriffs, local police, reporters, but we also go to gov. atty generals etc... someone is bound to get this boil off my behind.

my girls, your obsession with Janet cannot be good. You are so right about that. I need to get back to the task at hand. More people know about her in the adoption world now and other then her pretending to be a whole lot of diff people, she is tolerable. We know her MO very well now and I do realize she is not going to go away none too soon, therefore it is time to find a way to live with her and her ways. I have over come alot of obstacles and she is just one more.  It is so sad that when people contact me for help now, I have to double check who they are, because who knows it just might be Janet.
