I'm on Book 4 of the Dark Tower Series now. (Wizards & Glass)

Anyone who has read the series, I have a question...Did you notice an absurd amount of synchronicity from the book popping out at you in the real world?

It's very strange. When I was reading Book 3- The Wastelands, which as you know, is about them searching for this train who sort of has a face/personality and it's kinda creepy. Well, The day I finished it, we went to Wal-mart and they have those photo center advertisements where they just so happen to have one with a THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE background. I tugged hubby's arm and pointed with a horrified look on my face and then he just laughed. (he's read the series already) He said it happened to him all the time while he was reading the series. *shrug*

Anyway, I thought it was odd...and a bit creepy.

I just finished Ann Rice's Mayfair Witch Trilogy.

I liked this series, however it was a bit slow on reading at times, too much description and info. I often caught myself thinking "Ok get on with it, I want the rest of the story." The series did have some twist and turns that I didn't expect at all. Over all I would say 4 stars out of 5.
