6-year-old rapist quietly moved to new school

"Anchorage School District officials say parents can be assured their children are safe. They say the boy who raped another boy on school property has been removed from the school where it happened... Superintendent Carol Comeau said the boy who committed the crime has been placed in a specialized program and is overseen by a teacher's aide at all times. Because of the supervision, they say they do not feel they need to notify all parents at the new school."

I feel so sorry for that little boy. (yes, i think everyone should be notified he's at their school.) How do you think he learned how to do that in the first place? His life must be so FUBAR.

Personally, I think every parent of every child should be warned. Not to the point that they name the child's name to every parent. But if a potential problem arises they (the school) would be somewhat protected. I'd like to know of a problem before it existed.
