The second extension on a contact between the Screen Actors Guild, The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and video game publishers is about to expire, and a first ever video game voice actor strike could be on the way, reports Variety.
Video game voice actors are new to the business of union negotiation, increasing tensions between the two factions. The groups are hoping to achieve a new contract similar to one struck with the Screen Actors Guild for film and TV producers. Wages, pension, health and residuals are all high on the demands list for the new contract.
