The goal of this forum has always been to foster a healthy, fun, and informative community of people living or formerly living in the Northeast Mississippi area. While over the past couple of months we have seen a downturn in new memberships and general posting here, I am going to address this as well as offer some value to members who have spent time here posting and engaging in conversation with others.
Today, I'd like to announce TF MEMBER SERVICES. TF MEMBER SERVICES are open to anyone who meets the criteria outlined below. I will ask for a Paypal donation of ANY AMOUNT. The donation will be used to Purchase the Ad-Free Service offered by Proboards, who host our forum. Your donation is voluntary, and you will be asked only one time. If you choose not to donate, that is OK with me. Your donation goes right back into the forum by making it ad free. I do not make one dime on this forum and I NEVER WILL. If you do not want to go the Paypal route you have a secondary option of buying some ad-free credits for our board.

I have purposely kept the costs of running this forum to the bare minimum and I will continue to do so. I am not out to make ONE DIME from this service. My goal is to make our forum better, and removing the ads here is one way to improve our little corner of the web.
Moving on, to participate in ANY of these services, the following will be required:
1. You must be a member of good standing with our forum and have a rank of at least "TF Full Timer" (75 posts).
2. Moderators automatically receive Member Services regardless of post count.
3. You must not have received a warning in the last 30 days prior to your request.
That's it! I'm using the KISS principle here.
So what are the TF MEMBER SERVICES going to consist of? Glad you asked! Our first service has been announced, Blogging. Your Blog will be hosted here directly on our forum. Your Blog content can be about anything, but you are still bound to the Proboards TOS and our Forum Rules, just as if you were posting to any of the Discussion Topics. As a TF Blogger, you will receive a Short URL to use for your Blog to give to friends and family and use on the Internet as you see fit, just don't SPAM!
You have the option of using a Free File Host Account that can be setup by TupeloForums or you may use your own like PhotoBucket. You will also be the Master of your Blogspace. Meaning that you will have control of deleting and editing content within your Blog only. A title graphic may be added to your Blog by contacting me, and I will accomodate the best way I can, but the overall design and color scheme of your Blog will be almost identical to the design and color scheme of the rest of TupeloForums.
This service will officially launch November 25th, and I'll begin taking inquiries at that time.
Now, here's the best part about all this. Any amount donated through Paypal or purchased through Proboards ad-free service, I will match it 100%. That's right, if you decide to donate 5 bucks, I'll match it. I'll match any donation up to $50.00 Sound reasonable? And, let me say again, you are under NO OBLIGATION to donate anything. I will ask for your donation one time for the MEMBER SERVICE, and that is it. These funds are for the FORUM and will be used accordingly. And I will match any donations up to $50.00 to boot.
