Yesterday, we got a 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited that only had 50k miles on it. It was in better shape than the '03 and '04 we looked at. We made a dealer cry again.. Boo flippity Hoo! ;D We got what we were wanting for our trade-in, we got the price we were wanting to pay, and we paid down what we wanted to pay down. We were even able to finance it for less than what we wanted our payments to be. We got the car for less than Tupelo and we got an extra bous, the financing is set up so that we can pay extra on the principal instead of paying on the interest. The finance manager said that AR and TN law allows it, but not MS for some reason. They even gave us a 3-year "enhanced" extended warranty that covers the powertrain and major systems. Now we can pay an extra $50 a month and get that bad boy paid off sooner. Ha Ha! I thought it was a fluke when I only had to pay in $2000 to get my Expedition at Cartwright Ford, their sticker was actually $1000 less than what a "fair" price would be, I had to really negotiate to get what we wanted for the trade-in value for my Dodge. It looks like we've got a magic touch when it comes to buying cars or I'm a big old butt hewl.
