That IS cool! My sister was baptized at Christian camp early one morning around 3 am in the swimming pool!  |

yup, that is pretty standard. My husband was baptized in a swimming pool too, but let me tell you a stanger one. 10 years or so ago at Oak Valley the baptismal had a leak so had to be shut down for repairs and one of our van ministry girls, Jessica wanted to be baptized, so the entire church came to my house after services, squeezed into my bathroom and she was baptized in our garden tub!
I was freaking because I was caught off guard and was praying all the way home that my tub was clean and there was no soap scum, lol!

Not to get off topic, but I gotta tell a funny: In my bachelor days, I never cleaned the shower in my apartment, I couldn't afford to buy one of those rubber mat thingies, so I just let the soap scum build up to keep me from slipping and bumping my noodle ;D TFADMIN |

This church is the church that Jesus Christ bought and paid for with His precious blood. The souls in this church are accountable only to Christ Jesus, the High Priest, and led by His Holy Spirit. They are not under any man-made legalistic laws, rules and self-important authoritative figures. This church is not contained within any four walls but goes wherewith the Spirit leadeth.

Eastern Orthodox here. I attend an Antiochian parish in Memphis and find it very cool that the headquarters of the Antiochian Orthodox Church is located in Damascus, Syria on a street named Straight.
