this is one of my favorite times of the year. The Easter season. The time when our savoir Jesus Christ died for us,and then was raisied to sit at the right hand of the father. Don't you just love this time of year? It's a good time to refelect and thank him.

The weather gets nicer, everybody wears brighter clothes. The sun makes us feel better, even the air smells cleaner with all the plants coming back. It is a time for renewal. How queergy was that?  It's true, but it sure sounded like a Hallmark card. |

Actually, we are still approaching Pascha (Easter) in the Eastern Church on May 1st. We calculate Pascha as the 1st Sunday after Passover and this is the year that it hits 5 weeks apart from Western Easter. So we are just past the halfway point of Great Lent and I am really jonesing for a burger. lol I'm a notorious glutton so this fast is really rough but it is helping me to keep in mind that there are more important things than food.
