I don't know why I haven't posted this earlier but a good friend of mine, Jason Morris, was serving in Iraq, and the Jeep he was in hit an IED. He broke several bones, a couple of vertebrae, received third degree burns on his arms, and shrapnel in his face and neck, but he is OK. He is recouping at a military hospital in Texas. I spoke with him a week ago, and he was out of it due to the morphine they were giving him, but he is slowly getting better. With any luck, they will release him in a couple of weeks. Jason is such a nice person to know, and I am so thankful his life was spared. Jason serves as a Reserve Officer for the Tupelo Police Department and is one of the best reserves the department has. Keep him and his family in your prayers. TFADMIN
