I see where the girl involved in the Brett Jones case has been cvharged with accesory after the fact of murder. Why was the wait so long in indicting her?

Why was the wait so long in indicting her? it's a very good question i've seen asked many times. i've yet to see a good answer.

if you saw the court dockets you would understand. Time just did not allow it, as the grand jury only meets, I think, every three months and can only hear so many cases. The prosecutors decide who is presented and who can wait until next term. In the case of Michelle, I think they just kept putting her off because she was not going anywhere, as her mother had indicated that if she got out she would take her back to the Philipines, so the judge has ordered her held indefinitely. They moved the pressing ones through first, and since nothing is going to be done on her until after Brett's trial, because she will be used in his trial. That is just my opinion on the reasons, as this is not an unsual thing to do.
