Ms. Fulgham doesn't even deserve space on the same thread as Tyler but for more information on her latest antics see the following articles. www.starkvilledailynews.com/article...news/news01.txtwww.dailytimesleader.com/articles/2005/01/27/news/news07.txtThere was also a small article in the Packet (out of Columbus Mississippi and no longer an online newspaper) about Ms. Fulgham being transfered to the state hopspital for a mental evaluation. Ms. Fulgham is a sociopath...a very cunning, manipulative sociopath. Her mental evaluation will prove that, I'm sure. The mental evaluation is a tactic being used by Ms. Fulgham's attorney to stall the start date of the trial which, was scheduled to begin the first part of this year.

Last I heard from a friend in Tupelo, her attorney had asked for and Krista had been sent for psychological testing ...usually a stall tactic by the defense to postpone the trial.

jaykay,
The info on Krista and the psychological testing came from a small paper in Columbus The Packet (the paper is no longer online) and someone from the ctalks website emailed me about it. I consider it very reliable information.
*EDIT* I changed Columbus Dispatch to the Packet.

I work in law enforcement and I am sure that some of the views that you guys share are going to be on the other end of the spectrum from mine. I am not going to get into any disputes (like in Brent Jones and his partner) with you guys, because it is only opinions. Like people say, opinions are like heartbeats (only thing I could think of at the time) everyone has one.

Gyromatic, are you familiar with Tyler? Do you think it happened like he said or like his sister said?

Gyro i can understand how being in law enforcement you might have a diffrent outlook on things but don't you think that all the truth needs to come out. Kristi has lied repeatedly and tried to escape. So who do you believe a child or the lying sister.. Hard one to figure!

Here is what I think (here we go)....... if it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then more than likely, it is a duck. The girl has tried to escape from jail with the help from two other idiots (is that an admission of guilt or what?). She and her "brother" (in my opinion) killed that man. Her mental state (to me) is not an issue. I guess you have to be somewhat "crazy" to kill anyone in cold blood. Does that mean that everyone that does it deserves to get off on an insanity plea? Her brother, well, lets just say that he better be lucky he is 15 y/o. I don't have any pity on anyone (no matter the age) that takes another person's life. I know that is going to ruffle some feathers, but like I said, it is only my opinion. As far as the Brett Jones issue, I knew the man that he killed. I used to be good friends with his grandson (Brett's uncle) until he died in a car wreck 10 or so years ago. He is a troubled kid, and I am sure he wont get what he deserves. I foresee the age of ruthless killers getting younger and younger as time goes on. And I also see it happening more frequently. Do we put these kids in jail for the rest of their lives for them to adapt and live "normal" lives in prison. Prison will be all that these kids will ever know, so therefore, their lives will be "normal" to them. Ok, let me hear the replies LOL.

i question how you can see the Tyler is just as guilty, based on evidence presented at trial. There was no gunpowder anywhere on the kid, no motive, no blood, no DNA of the victims on him and no traces that he had even been present when the crime was committed, other than a sister who told her younger brother he was only 13 and they wouldn't do anything to him, but for her they would take away her kids and she would never see them again and she would go to jail for life, or even the death penalty. That would scare any 13 year old, especially a kid like Tyler who was a "brainiac nerd type that had no street smarts and had never been away from home for more than a night.
Sure the kid said that he did it the first day or so until he realized he was in big trouble and they were going to do something to him, and he recanted his confession really loud and clear. He said sis I love you, but screw this, I am not taking the rap for you. Everything he said was proven, that he was outside in the car with Kristi's kids when it happened and he did not know anything about it.
I say show me some tangible evidence that its even possible he could have been involved. You say, well 12 folks believed he did. Yeah, they did, but if you would have been at trial you would see why. The bias Judge Kitchens allowed the confession tape to be entered, but denied his recant tape or testimony about why he said it to be entered. He allowed a so called man who was not even close to an expert witness to testify that two people "might have" pulled the trigger, yet he denied a real forensic expert to testify that it was impossible. He allowed the state's psychiatrist to testify, but denied the 3 defense psychiatrists' to testify on his behalf. Yeah, it was pretty much open bias and one-sided that day. An innocent child is sitting in jail while ours are comfortable in their beds at home. A mother crys alone at night for her child that she knows is only guilty of loving, trying to protect and listen to his sister.
As far as Brett, I don't know if he did do it or not, I haven't seen all the evidence yet, but I do know that any child who is on as many antipsychotic and antihallucinogens medications as he was to just have them yanked away cold turkey and moved into a new enviornment could suffer grave problems. The medical professionals dropped the ball on Brett, and the law had to pick it up. Such a sad case.
