Jeff Gordon to Evernham racing

Ever since the race at Dover and now yesterday race at Talladega the rumor mill is really starting to go.

this was just phoned into me a few minutes ago. it is reported that Jeff Gordon has been talking to Ray Evernham about driving for him. According to the talk Jeff is not very happy with things at Hendricks, which include not being the top dog anymore. ( Kyle Busch and Jimmy Johnson )getting most of the attention.
it is said that Jeff will co-own a car with Ray with Jeff driving. Dupont will go whereever Jeff goes. this might not be a bad move , as neith one of them have had the success they once had when they were together.
This is only a BIG RUMOR but I'd thought I'd pass it on

I thought Jeff had ill feelings toward Ray? I guess if Jr. and Eury can kiss and make up, so can Gordon and Evernham
