I didn't go see this but two of my kids and some friends went for extra credit in History and they enjoyed the movie.

We went to see this at the Malco Corinth Cinema 10. We saw the 9:55 showing, it was almost exactly like the PBS version of the movie except for WAY!!! better graphics. I'm shocked that a Hollywood blockbuster would have better CGI than a PBS/BBC production! I mean, look at the quality rubber they used with the monsters in Dr. Who..the way the doors shook the walls when they were slammed..That's quality! But really, the budget is blown, two of the girls are going to see it this week as a field trip, we took all of the kids to see Harry Potter. Are there talks about producing any of the other books into movies? |
