Has anyone tried Romie's Marketplace located in the old Romie's Grocery Store on West Jackson Street?
Give me your impressions.

I'm so out of touch. I've never even heard of it.

Magnolia, I haven't eaten there, but it is right next door to the BP Station is on the corner of Gloster & Jackson St. It is on Jackson Street side. I've heard that it has really good food.

Had lunch there with the wife. Good country cooking. The fried cornbread patties are great. I have, unfortunately, heard that it wasn't so good on other days. I would expect them to be consistent considering how long they have been doing this(former owners of Gloster 205). When I ate there it was good and I will go back.

Yeah but they have already sold it........ Seems to be the same "type" of operation but haven't eaten there since the change. I think that the Jenkins's were trying to semi-retire and the place seemed to be swamped every time I went by during the "hours" ..........
