A great after dinner/supper movie to watch is the Notebook. I plan on dropping it off at a "friends" house tomorrow afternoon so that he & his lovely wife can watch it sometime this week. Find a happy place, find a happy place....Must get prepared to watch "The Notebook"  |

We went to the Olive Garden yesterday, we got there at 10:50 to stand in the line that stretched off the sidewalk.
They were severely shorthanded. Our server told us that 4 servers didn't show up for their shift. I think that the amount of business they are getting is demoralizing the employees. They were probably told it would die down in a week when the new wore off. I guess the place is that good, it'll take longer for that to happen.
My wife told me that Tupelo is the only place where she's seen people waiting outside a restaurant at every restarant in town on a weekend.
Service was still good. They had plenty of tables available, but not enough people to take care of them. That was the second time there for me, the first time we were in non-smoking, that place is huge!

Don't worry, I'll get my Olive Garden...my precioussss! My wife is out of town on business, one of the girls is going to a sleepover b-day party, three are going to be with their mother, 5 down, one to go for Friday night! But really, I'm thinking of going to Olive Garden for lunch Friday when they open...BSIGrim and maybe TF Admin and I are going to go see Sin City Saturday, if I get my dad to watch the last child or foist her onto a friend that owes me, it might be Friday night..TF Admin and Grin don't know this until they read this!  |

It was SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD!!!!!
I had the Chicken Portobello Alfredo Dish!!! I also had the Chocolate Almond Amore'
Grim had his usual Pork Tenderloin Dish!!!
I also the salad all to myself. Grim wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole.
I'm having my left-overs for lunch today.
Our server was good, too.

He needs to come off of them pork tenderloins, he needs to try something else for a change. At least he's not ordering a plain hamburger when we eat Chinese or Mexican anymore..slowly but surely, we're opening his mind..

Grim is doing a little better on what he will eat. I promise, One Day, he will eat salad. Maybe we can get together this weekend & eat. I'm off this weekend. I've got a long weekend (3 days).

I've been wanting to try our new OG. My wife and I ate at OG in IL while visiting friends last year and it was an awesome experience. The service was great and the food...ohh, the food....*sigh* Definately gotta check out OG. hehe

Took my wife to OG for her birthday Tuesday. All I can say is the "Tuscan T-Bone" will make you cry and curl up into the fetal position screaming "MOMMY! MOMMY!" It was fork tender and oh sooooooooo yummy!
