Okay, my better half is trying to talk me out of being royally ticked off, and he has reminded me that there are a FEW places with decent service. Here's the best I can do with a Best Service Top Ten:
10. Vanelli's -- not perfect, but pretty darn good
9. Pizza Hut on West Main
8. Cafe 212 (I know -- they don't really "serve," but they're SO NICE!)
7. The old Two-Tone Cafe -- haven't been to the new one enough to be able to tell
6. China Capital (food's just okay, but the service is perfect, even when they're really busy)
5. Carmita's/Rankin House -- great if she's not busy -- friendly, super-charming, and amazingly attentive; but if she's busy, well, see my other Top 10 list
4. IV's
3. Las Margaritas (if you don't mind the waiters staring at your butt and/or chest)
2. Ichiban
1. Harvey's -- ALWAYS good service
