What are you guys planning to do for the July 4th holiday? We are having a little cookout for the family today but other than that I just play to sit around on my butt and forget about work until Wednesday - and get in some writting time on my novel.
I'm too broke to travel but that's okay because it's too hot anyway.
Anyone doing anything exciting?

I'm going to Golden Moon in Philadelphia, Tuesday! Gonna try to win that Blackjack Tournament! Other than that, my fourth is gonna be pretty boring.

We're going to a birthday party for our great nephew. After that I'll probally hold the couch to the floor and watch a movie thru the back of my eyelids.

looks like my lazy day just got busted. grandkids are here from KY, so looks like I will be playing on the swing, in the pool, in the sand, or whatever they want to do.........Happy 4th everyone, and be safe and cool.

Busted here, too, Granny. The grandkids have been here for the last three days, screaming and running and shooting me with a toy gun. So my quiet time with my novel turned into a few paragraphs between screams. My youngest grandson puked all over me (I swear it must've been a half gallon). They left this morning but then the wife informed me that we will be attending the hoopla at Ballard Park tomorrow. I hate crowds.

I so know the feeling Rat. I have been in the pool all day with kids, and outside in the hot sun, and then as usual, little man pukes everywhere in my car! A mixture of hot dogs, BBQ chips, red koolaid and watermelon mixed with new car scent makes for a nauseating ride home.

I didn't make the blackjack tourney. I broke even after two hours of play. So my 4th was not too bad.

I survived the ho-hum fireworks show at Ballard Park and made it home by 11 for some rest. Work today so vacation is over.
