It seems like some children made a hit list and it was found out today. I heard two were arrested. This comes on the heels of an arrest made Monday, during school, of a drug bust. So far it isn't on the News. I have been waiting to see what they are going to say.

I didn't send the older kids to school today. Part of the kids who made the threats wasn't found. While I think it was just talk I decided to leave them in bed anyway. Better safe than sorry.

I used to want my daughter to attend the city schools because they offer more diverse (meaning sciences and mathematics - not homosex) courses but in recent years I'm glad she is in the county system because of the decline of discipline in the city.

Seventeen years ago, we purposely moved so the kids could go to the city school. We felt it did offer them a better education. And for my kids that graduated already it has been good for them. But I have kids from the first to the 12th this year and I don't know that we will stay in this district. I've thought about homeschooling the three youngest ones but I don't want them to be socially retarded. I have one who graduates this year and one next year. So that will leave three in school. I want them safe. But with a good education too.
