State Health Officer, Dr. Brian Amy will keep his job after all.
"The state board of health made the decision yesterday, but expressed concerns about the way the health department operates."
They called on Amy to come up with a plan to fix problems by December 13th.
Board members say one of their top concerns is about the reporting of communicable diseases.
A Senate committee held hearings last month to air complaints about the way Amy has overseen the health department.
