SECOND TRAIN DERAILS Posted by Stoney Sharp
A second train derails in North Mississippi. This time, it happened near downtown New Albany. Three cars rolled off the track and onto their side. The accident took place Sunday afternoon. No injuries were reported. The Burlington Northern train line repaired the track in eight hours. Although the wrecked cars and mounds of a brown like substance remain, officials say the track is fully operational. An investigation into why the train derailed is ongoing. Just last week, thirty cars derailed in the town of Sherman. It too, was a Burlington Northern train.
I wonder what is going on here too. The train at Sherman left a horrible mess and my friend lives right near where this one hopped off the track. She said it was a loud noise. And then people were everywhere.
