Liberals don't just want to squash free speech and extend the government into every aspect of our private lives, but, they HATE our country. They hate our way of life. They hate capitalism, Christianity, republicans and corporations. They can't stand the thought of a logger cutting a tree or a farmer destroying the land by plowing it. They can't tolerate oil drilling or oil refining or people who drive SUVs. But most of all they hate President George W. Bush.
This week, as democrats' hope of taking control of congress fades, we are bombarded with democrats and liberals who just can't find anything good to say about America.
Jimmy Carter said that America is the worst civil rights violator in the world. Obviously he has never heard of China or, well, most any other country in the world.
Several top democrats in congress speculated this week that falling gas prices is a "republican conspiracy".
And now we have Oliver Stone once again spewing his hatred of America in advance of his new movie "World Trade Center" which he describes as a "true account". Here is some of what he said in Spain this week:
"he [Bush] has set America back 10 years." Stone added that he is "ashamed for my country" over the war in Iraq.
"We have destroyed the world in the name of security."
"From Sept. 12 on, the incident (the attacks) was politicized and it has polarized the entire world," said Stone. "It is a shame because it is a waste of energy to see that the entire world five years later is still convulsed in the grip of 9/11.
"It's a waste of energy away from things that do matter which is poverty, death, disease, the planet itself and fixing things in our own homes rather than fighting wars with others. Mr. Bush has set America back 10 years, maybe more."
"Terrorism is a manageable action. It can be lived with."
"This war on Iraq is a disaster. I'm disgraced. I'm ashamed for my country," he said. "I'm also ashamed that America has attacked itself with its constitutional breakdowns. I'm deeply ashamed."
"You can't see that the United States is responsible for all the evil in the world because you can see so many dictators and so many bestial acts all over the world now. .... There is something in the human heart, the international human heart, that is evil," said Stone.
"That's the evil that turns its mind and ears on humanity and is able to say `I can kill a person in the name of God or religion.' This is not a human being, this a fanatic. And I fear that fanaticism is the result of our overreaction to 9/11," said Stone.
Liberals, including Stone, would have us all believe, as he stated in the last quote, that terrorism is the RESULT of our reaction to 9/11. What he considers the destruction of the World Trade Center, the Cole bombing, the first bombing of the WTC, and the bombing of our embassies (all of which occurred BEFORE 9/11), is beyond me.
So I say that liberals are dangerous. They want to bring our society down to the level of the third world just to make it fair. Yet the most outspoken of them are extremely rich, drive gas guzzlers and skip around the world on private jets. They use the freedoms and advantages of the American society as a weapon to destroy those very freedoms and advantages.
Will YOUR vote be the one that returns control of congress to those scoundrels?
