If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in the Iraq theatre of operations during the last 22 months, and a total of 2,112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000 soldiers.
The firearm death rate in Washington D.C. is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means that you are about 25% more likely to be shot and killed in the U.S. Capitol which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation, than you are in Iraq.
Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.

According to John Kerry, our troops in Iraq are just uneducated dopes who failed in school. Hmm.....

I heard that too. But this is the only job where your employer can send you somewhere to die and you cannot quit your job.

But can you imagine if a republican had said anything like that? John Kerry really is a dope and thank God he isn't our president. Perhaps he and Al Gore should run together in 2008.

kr.. have you seen this?
A Kerry aide said that the prepared statement, which had been designed to criticize Bush, "was mangled in delivery."
Kerry was supposed to say, "I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

so... he wasn't trying to insult soldiers... he was attempting a cheap shot at bush.
funny, kerry supported invading iraq before bush took office and after bush took office. he pulled his support AFTER we were already in iraq.

The joke is that John Kerry is calling someone else - anyone else - dumb. Sad that a state like MA can't find anyone better to send to the senate than Kerry and Kennedy. Don't they not have anyone with morals, courage, or patriotism?

That would be good but we have to see who the republican candidate is. Our constitution has been decimated from the past 2 administrations. We need somebody to restore liberties, close the borders, stop this crazy north american union thingy. Anything less than this will not be acceptable.

Kerry said this AFTER he called our military in Iraq stupid:
"I'm sick and tired of a bunch of despicable Republicans who will not debate real policy, who won't take responsibility for their own mistakes, standing up and trying to make other people the butt of those mistakes," Kerry said. "It disgusts me that a bunch of these Republican hacks who've never worn the uniform of our country are willing to lie about those who did. It's over."
