Anyone have any great ideas for snacks or tailgate party food? I love college football and always have something cooking but feel like I need something new to add to the menu. Any great recipes?

Well, I say try the daytona burgers. I know they are not finger food, but they are delicious. The recipe is in this board. Everytime you make a daytona burger, a little piece of me is right there with ya!

If you had big fingers they'd be finger food.

ARTICHOKE DIP 1 jar (not marinated) artichokes, chopped 1 cup Mayo 3/4 c. shredded Parmesan cheese 8 oz. shredded Mozzeralla cheese 1/2 onion finely chopped 1 pint of sour cream
Mix.....put in 9 X 13 pan...bake in oven at 350 till top is lightly brown.....about 30 to 45 minutes. Serve hot with tortillia chips.

I've got something that's always a party winner at my place:
1 can corned beef (or if you dislike corned beef you can use devilled ham)
2 green onion stalks (not sure of the terminology on that)
1 container of cream cheese spread
1 bag pretzel rods
In a medium size bowl, mix the cream cheese spread with either 3/4 can of corned beef (I feed the rest to my dog) or 1 can devilled ham. Chop the green onions finely and then mix it all together...use pretzel rods for dipping. Everyone eats this up within seconds at my parties.

Another little easy recipe I remembered...
On our Foreman grill, we cook some eye of round steaks (real small, round and thin steaks) and season em up (maybe even some liquid smoke) and then we grab some cheese and bread, slap the already cooked steak in the middle and grill that and it makes a neat kind of patty melt sandwich. MMM.

I need some idea of a creative finger foods for a party we are doing. Something inexpensive, more like snack food, not a meal.. to serve about 20 people. Any good ideas?

Reuben Dip
16 oz. Saurkraut(sp?), drained 8 oz. Cream Cheese 2 cups Swiss Cheese (shredded) 2 cups shredded corn beef (Deli kind not canned) 1/4 cup 1000 Island dressing
Combine all in a crock pot, stir occasionally. Cook in crock pot on high for about 45 minutes. Serve with toasted BIG BOY thingytail Rye bread or crackers.
If you like Reubens you will love this one! Z

buffalo chicken wings are always good just fry them all up, make your sause and serve out of your crockpot so they stay warm, and a huge pot of chili, serve with hotdogs grated cheese & onions - we make mini taco salads out of those little tostito scoops (the little taco bowl looking ones) just make like a a regular taco salad but mini. roastbeef rolls are sooo good too and simple, just get good thin sliced roast beef (you really need the deli to slice it, cause you want it paper thin) take 2 slice, lay them flat, smear some horse radish sauce (like horsey sauce from arbys, but it's made by kraft) on it, thin, then slap on a piece of very thin munster cheese and roll, secure with am olive topped tooth pick - can be elegant or casual. Those little chocolate dippers are so cheap now, they look nice on a table with anything from fresh fruit to marshmellos - or don't use chocolate, use cheese, and set out diffrent flavors of bread, little smokies and nice cubes of meat - most people don't know that cheese will work too.
