I would like to see a forum for the paranormal-like ghost stories - UFO sightings and related subjects. Does anyone have a true ghost story?

where is wretch when you need him. He does and when he tells it, it makes hair stand up on my neck.

I do have a funny true story. We thought it was paranormal, but...well just read and you will see.

My husband has always been interested in the paranomal. He believes in aliens and beings on another planet and UFOs, the whole works. We had only been married a very short time and still newlyweds when we were lying in bed late one night. I was almost asleep and he shook me vigorously in a loud panic whisper asking me what was on the door. I raised up and the doorknob was glowing a bright red. He was totally panicked and I must admit it unnerved me a bit. He started with the aliens in the house stuff. I sat up in the bed and stared at it and it just kept glowing. I tried staying calm cause he was losing it. I told him there had to be a logical explanation that doorknobs don't just glow red. His reply was..yeah, yeah, then what the he11 does that doorknob look like to you. Before I could figure it out I felt the bed move and commotion beside me. My husband was standing up in the bed trying to put his pants on. I could tell by his panicked look he was up to something, but before I could ask he was saying I am going to daddy's house, I am getting out of here. I told him to wait on me, but he was gone before I could get out of bed, but then I noticed something strange, when I stood up the glowing stopped, sat down on the bed it glowed, up it stopped. Hummmm. It was the alarm clock red numbers bouncing off the golden doornob. Needless to say I had to run for a while to convince my husband the house was not haunted. LOL.

They used to say that there was a ghost in the hollow by my other house. Some guy was having an affair with this other guy's wife. The angry husband chased him over the hill by my other house with an axe and chopped his head off. Some of the sharecroppers said they saw him looking for his head.

When my Daddy was a teen, he heard about it and made sure all the young black girls knew about it. Then one night a couple of them left the store at sunset to walk home. He ran behind the hill and hid under the bridge in the hollow and put on a sheet. He jumped out and said they started running and didn't stop screaming until they got home.

But as for real ghosts, I'll let Magnolia talk about her experiences with the woman in white and the man in black.

Okay...my brother shot himself on my twin boys' 3rd birthday on May 27, 2000. That was the last time my parents stayed in that house for any length of time. We painted the walls so they could rent it out.

A young couple moved in, there daughter was a year younger than the boys to the day, they shared the same birthday. She stayed in my brother's room until she kept telling her mother that there was a man sitting in front of the window. He didn't say anything, he just sat there.

They also had a twin boy and girl. Their mother saw a half-full sippy cup fly off their countertop and hit the kitchen wall. The TV in the living room would also tunr itself off and on until the mother would tell my brother to stop it. She would also see someone in the corner of her eye standing in his doorway.

The women in her family have always been chased by ghosts and exhibited signs of psychic phenomenon. My brother "moved on" after her mother moved in.

One time, her aunt was in Behavioral Health. On the afternoon of 9/10 she went ballistic all of a sudden and was saying stuff like, "The plane is going to hit the building" until they sedated her and knocked her out.Of course the next day, things were pretty crazy...and her attendants flipped out thinking about what she said the day before.

I lived in a house once that weird things happened in like the shower would turn on by its self and I would have food missing and my car horn started blowing one night- the car horn could be explained away or so I talked myself into believing that it could be as for the other things I don't know and I lived by myself. It was a rental place- shortly there after I moved and a family with young children moved into the home. The man of the house said similar things happened to him and that he saw a hooded figure moving through the house but personally I think that guy was off his rocker he had a picture of his pit bull tattooed on his chest and he was really weird but that's another story. LOL that's a good one about the red door knob. ---------My dad , my sister and I went to spend the night at my grandmother's house who had justed been buried that day we were in the living room watching TV when we suddenly we heard some one knocking on the wall in the hall. It was hard knocking like someone would knock on your door. Needless to say it scared the heck out of me and my sister we just looked at each other the we both looked at my dad. We decided that we would all sleep in the same room and it took me forever to go to sleep. Later that night my sister shook me awake. We both heard knocking on the wall and it sounded like someone was walking down the hall. we woke my dad up. He got up and turned the lights on but we saw nothing anyway that was the last time we spent the night there. The house was sold 6 months later and I have not talked to the new owners.
