I would welcome members to give me ideas, and thoughts about what other Forum Boards you would like to see.
We alread have a request for a dating board. I have been thinking since we have a lot of posts about national news and politics that those topics might be topics of interest, but this is not about me, all members have a say.
Granted we are trying to cover mostly local living issues here, I would be more than happy to make other boards that expand into other areas, if the demand is here.
Give me some feedback and I'll take the responses and we'll all vote. It will give me a good grasp on what subjects you all feel are important and over the next couple of weeks I'll set the boards up. Sound Cool? Post your thoughts below and support your suggestion well to be included in the vote.

I like the idea of having a national politics/news/events section.
And I think beastman has a good idea with a "What's Happenin" local board. TWD

I like this idea also. Everybody is looking for a bargain and/or a job.

I like the topic from G2Y. A classified ad board is just what we need. I enjoy reading just the classifieds sometimes. ;D

TF,
Check the laws in your state in regard to the give away or sale of puppies/kittens in your state before allowing animals to become part of a classified section.
I'm don't know the laws there but here in Florida it is illegal to advertise them ...sell or give away any animal under 8 weeks of age or any animal who has not been vaccinated agaisnt rabies by a licensed vet.
Ebay won't even allow animals to be posted on their site for legals reasons.
Your state statues should tell you what is legal and what isn't.

Sky is right, I would check before making a board, but here in Mississippi there is no laws in effect against listing puppies/kittens. Heck we still have some laws on the books that you would not believe. BSIGrimreaper

MyColumbusClassifieds.com uses E-Classifieds software for its site. It also has a section for Pets and supplies, as well a Personals section for dating ads, etc. New catagories can be added with very little trouble. The version running on MyColumbusClassifieds.com is a Perl/CGI type that is several years old but still works. E-Classifieds has newer versions out now that use dynamic scripting instead of the Perl/CGI type.
