Is it just me or does clicking the 'new' link for threads not take you to the newest posts?

Are you talking about the "NEW" graphic to the left of each board on the main page? If so, then no, it does not take you anywhere. It's just a graphic to tell you that there are new threads or posts within that board.

No, I'm talking about just to the left of a thread with new posts on it. Between the > and the thread name there will be small text that says 'new'. It should take you to newest posts to a thread... but for me it just goes to the very first post.

I see. Actually that is just a little graphic that sits inside the thread title noting that there are new posts since your last visit to that thread. You can click on the "Last Post" column and that will take you to the last post made in that thread. Just don't click on the name of the last poster, that will take you to their profile. Click on the date or "yesterday" or "Today" and that will take you pretty close to where you want to be.
Also, if you're following a lot of discussions, near the bottom of our main page is a "View last 20 posts" link. Click that, and it will display the last twenty posts made to the forum.
You can also download our toolbar and get that functionality on your browser.
