By now most people know that Mary Winkler shot and killed her husband. The question remains why? I figure it will turn out that he was abusing either her or most likely the girls in some way or both. According to the arrest warrant they did not give a motive. news.findlaw.com/hdocs/docs/crim/tnwinkler32406wrnt.html

Fox news said authorities have a motive but when asked if the motive was abuse they said no comment.

Well, if she wasn't deranged in some way then the only thing I can think of that would make a loving wife kill her husband would be abuse on the children. They said he wasn't fooling around with no one, so that leaves out cheating. She mat claim insanity or depression since her baby isn't real old. But the congregation would of picked up on depression if she was an active member. It is a shame for the kids now they won't have either parent.

I read today that the lawyer said a motive may not be known until trial, but they will have to reveal it during discovery.

She looked like a lost child when they led her into court. for arraignment. She held on to Mr Farese as if he were her lifeline. This story is sooo sad.

Why the sudden interest in an out of state crime or did I miss something? You think he might have cheated on her?

no, there is nothing to indicate infidelity on his part, or hers either for that matter. Just curious what would make a woman shoot her husband like that. It's not that far away, just over the state line, but there is something about the case that makes it of interest

It doesn't matter if it was out of state to me. I'm just curious why a loving mother, who according to the people that knew her, would bump her husband off. I follow a lot of cases that didn't happen in MS. I still look at Natalee Holloway and that Neil Entwistle. Even thou I believe Neil is deranged. I think he is insane and not just pretending to be. But I figure Mass. will find him fit to stand trail and he will get life.
