Asked to leave

So the Mall thread will not be hi-jacked I want to start a new one.

Have you or your spouse or children ever been booted out or asked to leave a place of business?

My child is only three so... no. And I can't comment on my wife. I didn't know her as a teenager.

Personally, though, as a teenager I was kicked out of lots of places. Most notably the mall in Sumter, South Carolina. I was a.... I don't what it was called. Wore jeans, boots, chain on my wallet, t-shirt of flannel shirt, long hair, listened to Metallica, Megadeth, Pantera... etc. Anyways, we were hanging out in a particular store looking for a gift for my friend's mother's birthday. Out of nowhere rent-a-cops show up, handcuff us and lead us into the back hall. There, without explination we were frisked and questioned. Apparently the store clerk told security we were stealing stuff. When the search came up with nothing the security guards apologized and asked us to leave the mall for the rest of the day just so there weren't any problems. Which, we weren't meanies so, we left. The next day we went back to get the item for my friend's mother and the woman started screaming at us. At that point security came and told the lady what happened the day before and /she/ ended up getting escorted out for being unruly.

Unfortunately that's the only example I have of being kicked out of a place for no reason. Most other times it was just something like we were at the park too late and what's a 17 year old hanging out on the jungle gym for at 2am?
