Does anyone have any idea why Wendy's on N Gloster would have been closed on a Tuesday night at only 8:30? I thought they always stayed open late or at least the drive thru. What is up with that? Just curious!!

McDonald's is the worst about closing early. I work late, and McD's is one place I quit even trying to go to after 8:00 p.m. Just in the past couple of months I have gone to the one way down on S. Gloster around 8 p.m. to just have the doors locked (all of them, not just the side doors). Then one Sunday night around 9 p.m. I went to the drive thru at the other S. Gloster McD's just to have someone tell me they are closed.
I give Wendy's, Waffle House and Subway all of my late night business. By late, I mean after 8. The other fast food joints are way too inconsistent. Though, I will say the only place to get fresh fries from 8 till 10 is the Hardee's on E. Main.

My family went to IHOP late one night and we all ordered their specials... sandwiches. The waiter told us they were all out of sandwiches. NO JOKE. We could NOT get a sandwich. Since we were all starved, we ordered the meals. I thought it to be strange that they had meals, but no sandwiches. I won't go there again late night because of this.

My brother and sis-in-law went to IHOP and said that the meal was way overpriced and not very good! Personally, I've never been there. We usually eat at Huddle House in New Albany or Pontotoc. Haven't tried Tupelo Huddle House yet. Does anyone know if it's any good or not?

IHOP. *groan*
Right before the last election, the waitress actually asked my dad and I who we were going to vote for. I thought it was rude of her to ask such a thing, but I popped out with "Anybody but Bush." She gave me a dumbfounded look and just walked off. We got bad service the rest of the night. Don't ask a loaded question if you are a waitress...NOT a way to make tips.

i've ate at ihop's in other places and they seemed a little high. most fast food places won't let anyone dine in real late, but will keep the drive thru open.
