Anyone have any info concerning Nursing Homes, the Good ones, the BAD ones, the Ones to stay away from?

I just recently lost my grandmother who spent the last several years in and out of nursing homes. The best one that we discovered (my uncle researched every one around) and there was no question that Baldwyn Nursing Facility was the very best, top knotch. My grandmother was very happy there and she was well, well above and beyond taken care of. The night she died the staff was so kind and loving to us. If I ever had to place another loved one there would be no question where they would go.

I hear that Cedars Health Center is pretty good. They have programs and the Greenhouses for those who can take care of themselves somewhat.

Pontotoc Nursing Home, Baldwyn Nursing Home, and Cedars are the three best that I've heard. I work with the elderly and have been told this on several different occasions by different family members. I have also heard alot of bad things about the Beverly Nursing Homes (I think there are two in Tupelo). Several times over the years people have spoken bad about those two.
Fortunately, I can't speak from personal experience with a loved one, but can definitely speak from professional experience. Hope this helps!!
