Now that the Daytona 500 is in the record books. I say congrats to all the Fans of Jimmy Johnson who won the race, withoutbhis crew chief Chad knaus who was suspended from the rcae by NASCAR and had to watch the race on TV. Good going Jimmy.
In other News:
After a review of the race Nascar dteermined that Casey Mears beat out Ryan Newman to finish second in the race. This was Mears best finish in his 109th start. Way to go Casey.
Matt Kenseth was furious with Tony Stewart's cheap shot on lap 107 that sent Matt sliding into the infield. Everybody could see that it was intentional, so during the caution Kenseth raced out of his pitt to catch up with Stewart who was leaving Pitt road, he pulled along side of Stewart made a gesture at Stewart, but for his actions Kenseth was blacked flag for his part and Stewart was made to go to the back of the field during the restart. Being Tony Stewart, he blamed everybody else for what happened out there , During a post race interview Stewart said" he did that to get back at Kenseth for what Matt did to him During the race. NASCAR is investagating the incident. Even though Nascar Penalized Stewart a number of times in the race and sent him to the back of the field, he still managed a top 5 finish.
