Article reveals that the governors will no more be in control of their state's National Guard. Remember a few months back when this was brought up and the Governor of the states wholly objected to it? Well, now despite their objections, it has been taken out of their hands.
The constitution has been trashed with the passages of the Patriot Acts, the Military Commissions Act, and now this. The military commissions act decimated habeus corpus. Sad, sad, sad, that congress passed this. If martial law is ever called, we will NEVER regain our constitutional freedoms. How did we ever get this far on losing guaranteed constitutional freedoms?
