A... giant... gorilla... makes... you... giddy?
*takes a step back*
I heard that it wasn't all that great of a movie. That it had awesome effects and all but that it just didn't do the original justice. I'll see if I can rent it this weekend. Despite what people tell me I do tend to watch things for myself before I make a final decision. =)

I bought the Special Edition when I got off work, I haven't seen it yet. Wasn't it one of those movies that you and BSIGrim didn't invite us to? Bastages! I've never seen the original, I've got it on my list, though. I don't care about a lot of old movies, everyone seems to overact too much, like they are exaggerating for the silent movies. There are a lot of old movies I do like a lot like All Quiet on the Western Front and Wings. But too many of them are too much like Hells Angels... Oooh! Coming soon. A story about a love affair that was so wrong it had to be right. Silverback Mountain starring TFAdmin and Koko the gorilla. Photoshops coming soon! ;D

The original King Kong is hard to watch... really hard to watch. The animations are... well... have you ever watched a godzilla movie? Or maybe Mystery Science Theater 3000?

I think it was a good movie. It could have been almost as good a movie without the monkey. They could have made a movie just about those crazy village people. Seeing it on a TV will not do it justice like seeing it at the movies, but still worth the rent. I'll give it 2 thumbs up.
