This past weekend, I went to Lake Lamar Bruce and did some fishing...well, it was more like I fed a whole bunch of tiny fish a load of crickets...heh. Apparently no one was catching any fish, yet a co-worker went to Davis Lake and caught a whole mess of crappie.
LLB is such a nice place, I'll make another run in a few weeks and hopefully have better luck.

I *might* know where they put the crappie bedding areas at Lake Lamar Bruce when they were working on it a few years ago... ;D
I've got a picture of my Uncle O, my grand-daddy, and Lamar Bruce with a huge stringer of fish..They used to hunt and fish with Cliff Gookin too. Daddy used to be partners with Bud Coley...hey...where's Witt Street?

I remember we used to go swimming at LLB all the time when I was a kid.

I remember that Witt! I wouldn't go back in the water for ages. It is still Lake Lee to me, and always will be. We had some good times there growing up.

I know this is a old topic, but I can not help but update it since I just joined the forums. I remember Lake Lee, and yes I also still call it Lake Lee.. Fishing update for the lake..I fish it a lot.. I've had good luck at Lake Lee most of the summer. I've had some really good days catching bass. Brim seem to have leveled off since it really became hot. A lot of good brim are still being caught....The cove just west of the boat launch is a good place in the early morning hours..

When it begins to cool off, I will be going back. I miss Brim fishing there.
