Why do we never see any of the old Daniel Boone episodes with Fess Parker? I remember watching them as a kid (they were reruns then, I think) and loved them. TV Land shows Bonanza and Gunsmoke (which I watch religiously) so I wonder why not Boone? Maybe I should write them and ask........ I think I will.

You do that. I watched ole Daniel myself. I haven't thought of that show in years. And I'd dearly love to re-watch the re-runs! My husband watches Gunsmoke and Bonaza.

I did. The link wasn't apparent at first but I finally found it and all I had to do was enter the name of the show suggestion. I was immediately prompted with a "We love that show too" automated response. Maybe if we all go there and request it they will show it.  |

TV Land is having a Daniel Boone marathon this weekend. 48 hours of Boone. I wonder if my request had anything to do with it? Could it be that easy?

An interesting note: I was watching an episode of Daniel Boone a few mintues ago. In the episode, Jimmy Dean guest starred as a man wrongly accused of murder. Boone, of course, gets him cleared. As the show goes off, Dean is walking away and in the blue horizon is the unmistakable contrail of a jet.
