As we all know, Tupelo spends a ton of money every few years to study the trains at crosstown, study ways to improve traffic flow, study ways to annex areas, blah, blah, blah.
Well, Raleigh, N.C. seems to have the same problem. This time it counts!
(Raleigh, NC-AP) April 21, 2006 - A lawyer arguing a drunken driving case at the Wake County Courthouse died of an apparent heart attack.
Authorities say Tom Farris died Thursday morning despite efforts to resuscitate him in the courtroom.
The courthouse doesn't have a defibrillator. Wake County officials set aside money to buy defibrillators last June, but spent the past ten months doing a study to assess the county's need for them in the courthouse and other buildings. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The good new is that the courthouse will get their defibrillator. Seems like, even without the study, that a defibillator might be a good thing to have.
