Same rules as the Name that Movie game, just instead of Movies its TV shows. I will start with a hard one.
"My name is Too big of a hint to give you his name, or at least it was. I'm a photographer, I had it all: a wife, Alyson, friends, a career. And in one moment it was all taken away, all because of a single photograph. I have it; They want it; and they will do anything to get the negative. I'm keeping this diary as proof that these events are real.
I know they are... They have to be. "

This show was actually an allegory for the rise of Nazism. It featured space aliens who dined on white mice in nearly every episode.

The mini series was better than the TV series.

It's the 80's, and the show focuses on a group of kids in high school. It aired on NBC and received top ratings and critical reviews, but in their "wisdom" pulled it before it could finish out the first season.
The show was also known for it's dynamic use of late 70's and 80's music.

Freaks and Geeks
Two loud and obnoxious guys end up happily married to the hottest women in town. They are blue collar, "big" meat and potatoes kind of guys. They do a lot of legwork before they get to work but they aren't "real" men. One of the guys owns a dog that yaps all the time and can be a real pita.

New hints..
The couple that the show is named for broke new ground in the 60's for having a baby on television without stirring up a fuss.
The other couple has a son that likes to go clubbing all the time..

Nice, subtle clues there, Wittzo.
Faced with proving his theories or losing funding, this scientist becomes his own test subject.
