For the past 37 years the Congressional Softball League has been the place for Congressmen and their staffers to enjoy some leisure activity without the partisanship associated with their jobs.
Well, tsk,tsk .... This year it has all come to an end. The majority of the Republican softball teams are pulling out of the league to form their own. The league commisioner is a Democrat and many of the Republicans say he is running the league like a socialist. Claimining he is allowing teams with losing records to be in the playoffs. Hello ---- NBA anybody!?
Can we seriously expect this group of people to ever do anything constructively for America?
