Pontotoc Mississippi seemed the perfect place to settle down for Misty and Charles Jackson.
They moved there in October of last year and became part of the community.
But, the couple had a deep, dark secret -- they had been on the run for almost a year.
Oddly enough, it was their church family in Pontotoc that recognized the couple on the television program America's Most Wanted and led lawmen to them.
Charles was serving time for arson in Indiana when he was allowed to leave to visit his newborn baby.
He never returned.
The Jackson's abandoned the baby shortly after she was born.
The couple also had a 22 month old whom they left with a complete stranger at a truck stop.
