Holy crap. I was at the Mall for a couple hours yesterday. I didn't see any security at all the entire time I was there. And I walked around the damn thing probably four times while my wife and future sister in law went from store to store.
I'm not saying harrasment didn't occur... but I saw quite a few people that I would ask to leave. Hell, I saw one young man wearing makeup with pants that were about 10 sizes too big and a shirt that had a swasticka on it. I probably would've made him leave too. My son doesn't need to see pooh like that.

Kids need someplace to hang out and be kids without bugging other people and people bugging them.
In the real world, kids don't spend a lot of money, their parents do. Kids can't finance anything so therefore...
I used to get indignant about kids getting hassled by "the Man" until I became "the Man".

I'm with you, Wittzo. Some of the kids at the mall are just... rude. Very, very rude. They need to be shown the door. But they should only be shown the way out if they're causing problems... like I saw many kids at the mall doing this weekend. Some of them would congregate in the middle of nowhere and not let anyone by even if they said 'excuse me'. Then when you did ask them to let you by they would be indignant like they were the one's put out becaus they had to move to let you by. Or the ones that were yelling from one side of the mall to the other at people. Hell, there was one punk that pushed me out of the way because apparently being handicapped is no excuse for having to walk slow. I was about to punch him in the back of the head until I realized he was probably only 14.
What happened to parents teaching their kids manners? I know mine sure did. And I'll be sure to teach mine manners.

I think it's really stupid to have removed the post talking about others in the mall, but since capt. witzo and rev. crimson run the show. you can clearly see why everythings hush hush around the mall. IMO- your still Rent a Cops.

IMO- your still Rent a Cops. as posted be needaleader on dj forums-As has been dicussed in other threads that were consequently shut down multiple times. This is related to the Mall demanding taxpayer funded Police Protection on Saturday nights as reported by All Seeing Eye. I was told many times that the Mall demands this because Saturday Night there are more black teenagers hanging out and they cause more trouble. Mind you, I was told this by a MALL SECURITY OFFICER! I know from my own experience that particularly around closing time on Saturday night there appears to be more black teens than white, but it's not scientific, and I cannot say for certain that this is the case EVERY Saturday night, but the bottom line is that there is DEFINITELY some kind of racial undertone to this whole ordeal perpetrated by either the MAll AND/OR the City of Tupelo. Threads DO NOT GET SHUTDOWN at www.tupeloforums.com----- We need leadership...not Status Quo!

now why are they just harrassing the kids in black clothes, why not harrass all of them. and as someone as said "it's not the kids with money, it's the Parents" well correct, but its the same parents that DROP OFF their young for someslse to Babysit!!!!! and if it wasn't for the kids spending money and time at the Mall, their wouldn't be a reason for it.

RockinRickus... you'd fare much better here by just sticking to the topic you seem so interested in. If you had posts removed it was probably because you are attacking other members here and being rude. The mods and the admin here don't like that. This place is probably a lot more civil than what you are used to.
Sorry mods, it's not my place, I do not mean to hijack so I'll post something relating to the issue at hand.
If people wearing all black are being targeted as you have suggested, then it should come as no surprise to those that wear all black that they are being stared at, gawked at, etc. Isn't that the point of wearing all black?? To get attention? To be different? To not conform? It's rebellion in it's purest form and yes, you will be targeted. You are getting what you are asking for...get over it.
If your skin is black, then that is an entirely different matter. You should not be targeted because of skin color.

The more you become a non-conformist, the more a conformist you become. Nose ring, tongue stud, tribal tat, come back with something truly original. It's as lame as someone wearing a shirt and tie under a T-shirt at a Beta Club convention.... The more unconventional you are, the more I will ignore you. Push me and I'll go all Taxi Driver on your bottom. I'll do my best to impress Cybill Shepherd. Go ahead, Punk. Make my day.

Ok Fine, as far as I'm concerned this is over. But when your kids are being HARRASSED by security for no reason, I might add. And when your Harrassed by the GANG's that hang out at the Mall(watch for the colors, the rides, the people( white or black) But when this happens and it's only a matter of time, then well see whom CARES.............. NOBODY, has HERE. Good-Day
